Coronavirus fear is taking on people ‘big time’. A recent video that is going viral is substantiating the same. In a video that is going viral, a man is being beaten by the public for ‘sneezing’ in open. The incident has been reported from Maharashtra’s Kolhapur.
A man was riding on the bike when he sneezed in public without covering his face. As the man sneezed another bike-rider stopped and asked him why he sneezed without covering his face with a handkerchief as it could cause the spread of the coronavirus.
This lead to heated exchange and the man who had allegedly sneezed was beaten up. As per Police, no case was registered in this regards. According to the World Health Organisation, the virus can spread through spitting, sneezing or coughing or physical contact with an infected person. Thus, people are being cautious in this regards.

Maharashtra so far is the epicentre of India’s coronavirus spread with 52 cases being reported. In total 285 cases have been reported so far in India. Globally this number is closing in on 3 lakhs.
