State Bank of India or SBI, the country’s largest public sector bank has introduced a new credit service called Real Time Xpress Credit (RTXC) on its mobile banking application SBI Yono. SBI will treat this service as the flagship personal lending product. This type of personal credit service always booms in the market. There is no physical attendance needed for an applicant in any SBI Branch, the complete process is online. But an applicant, who is employed, has to meet certain requirements to avail of the benefit of this service.

After being eligible a salaried employee can avail of up to ₹35 lakh personal loan benefits. SBI claims that an applicant can avail of this service in eight steps which will be completely paperless. Moreover, the Real-Time Xpress Credit (RTXC) service is applicable to those who have an active salary account in the bank. And SBI Yono will be used to avail of the benefits of these services.

Who Are Eligible For Availing Real-Time Xpress Credit (RTXC) Service?

  • An SBI bank account is necessary to become the beneficiary.
  • The minimum monthly salary must be ₹15,000.
  • Moreover, “- Central government and State government employees or Defence servicemen can avail the benefit of the service.”
