After the rejection of mercy plea of the Nirbhaya case convict Pawan Gupta by President Ram Nath Kovind on Wednesday the final death warrant was out on Thursday. As per the latest death warrant issued by Delhi court, the hanging would take place on 20th March.
As per the warrant issued by Additional Sessions Judge Dharmendra Rana hanging will be held at 5.30 am on March 20th. This is the 4th time a new date has been issued after the hanging was first canceled from 22nd January. After the rejection of mercy plea each time a 14 days time is to be observed before a fresh date is announced.

Now, remedies for all the culprits are over as they have exhausted all the legal options available to them. The lawyers of the convicts would be allowed to meet them during this time period. The last death warrant was issued for 3rd March which got stalled on the eve of the hanging.
