Ola Electric has introduced OLA S1 and OLA S1 Pro in India. The aim of introducing these electric smart scooters is to enhance and speed up the adoption of electric mobility around the country. The new Ola scooters promise good battery life, smart connected features, and high speed.

In addition to this, both the electric scooters are powered by Ola’s own operating system which offers a complete connected experience. Some best-known features are a keyless start, widgets, voice control, and navigation. These features ensure that you don’t need to clip your smartphone to the handle. Not only limited to this, but you can also change the speedometer theme as well as the sound that scooters make while riding. However, here is all you may need to know!

OLA S1 and S1 Pro Price In India

The OLA S1 and S1 Pro will be available at a minimum price of Rs 85,099 and Rs 1,10,149 in Delhi respectively. People who have already booked the OLA scooters with Rs. 499 at OLA Electric website will get it after September 8, 2021. Ola will start deliveries for people who haven’t made pre-booking from October.

OLA S1 and S1 Pro: Differences

Both the electric scooter variant looks same. The major things that make differences between these are top speed, colour options, and riding modes. The OLA S1 gives a maximum speed of 90kmph and claims 0 to 40kmph in 3.6 seconds. The maximum battery range is 121km with a peak power of 8.5kw. It comes in five colour variants, such as yellow, white, black, red, and sky blue (or teal).

Alternatively, the OLA S1 offers a top speed of 115kmph and claims a 0 to 40kmph time of 3 seconds. The maximum battery range is 181 km with a peak power of 8.5kw. This variant is launched in 10 colours, including the 5 colours of the S1, and yellow, pink and three shades of black and dark grey. The Ola S1 Pro variant has three riding modes – normal, sport and hyper. The hyper ride mode is missing in the S1 model.

The Ola S1 and S1 Pro mainly focus on battery range, trendy design, high speed, and convenience. Also, these scooters come with a large boot space that can easily accommodate two helmets. Moreover, it includes features like reverse parking mode, hill hold, disk brakes on both tires along with cruise control that activates at 40kmph.

Ola S1 and S1 Pro smart connected features

As discussed above that the Ola S1 and S1 Pro comes with smart connected features. The scooters are connected with their own operating system that provides a connected dashboard experience. Moreover, you get a 7-inch touch display – powered by an octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM. The dashboard supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and 4G connectivity.

The scooters are well-connected with your mobile; the battery status of the scooter is displayed on the screen. You can get directions and take calls from the dashboard. Some other widget features are battery indicator, weather details, torque, wind speed, acceleration and more.

How to charge the batteries of Ola S1 and S1 Pro scooters?

At offices and/or homes, simply use a 5A socket to charge the scooters with a 750W charger. You can also visit the nearest Ola Electric Charging Network assessing in 100 cities for charging. At Ola Hypercharger facilities, the battery charges to 50% in 18 minutes. At home, it may take up to 6 hours.
