It’s snowing.
Though Indians don’t get to say this a lot (kyuki saare thande desh angrez le gaye), but that time of year is here when we actually do because north Indian states start receiving fresh snowfall around this time and it is one mesmerising sight to behold.
And honestly, for someone like me, who has never touched snow, all those pictures of snowfall and snow-capped mountains that my friends from North India would share with me are the source of all the adventure I can afford right now.
So going by the virtue of sharing is caring, I thought why not share the same adventure with you and thus here I’ve collected these pictures of cities across India that have been receiving fresh snowfall recently.
This one is from Shimla’s, Kufri where the temperature recently dipped to as low as -1 degrees Celsius.
Kedarnath temple and its vicinity, which is scheduled to close for the year on November 16, also received the first snowfall of the season.
Himachal Pradesh’s Keylong district too was the one to receive the first snowfall of the season.
Lahaul & Spiti district in Himachal Pradesh has been donned in white and it’s nothing less but beautiful.
Sonmarg in Jammu & Kashmir looks heaven-sent after receiving the season’s first snowfall. The temperature here has dipped to as low as -6 degrees Celsius in recent days.
