Giving a unique kind of analogy New Zealand’s fast bowler Mitchell McClenaghan tried to create awareness about COVID-19. The cricketer who was in Pakistan recently for Pakistan Super League (PSL) took to Twitter to share the word.
“Think of your House as a Condom and Covid19 as a deadly incurable STD. Protect yourself before your wreck yourself. #isolate #Covid_19 #coronavirus #useprotection”, he tweeted. Later he changed the condom and STD (Sexually Transmitted Diseases) with helmet and beamer one.
“Think of your House as a Helmet and Covid 19 as a beamer #Covid19 #isolate” he tweeted later. McClenaghan who ha splayed for ‘Mumbai Indians’ was representing ‘Karachi Kings’ in PSL. After returning from Pakistan due to COVID-19 threat he was in self-isolation.
He also shared the message on social media about he going into the self-isolation mode. As the COVID-19 has killed over 10,000 people across the world ‘social distancing’ is the key to prevent it. Amidst this, the governments across the globe have advised citizens to move out of home only when required. All major sporting events are also postponed with the IPL delayed till 15th April.
