In a tragic incident, a pregnant elephant in Kerala was recently fed a cracker-laden pineapple that killed it and has got people angry.

The incident was reported in the fringe areas of the Silent Valley in Attappadi. The elephant was allegedly given the pineapple to eliminate her. The crackers exploded in her mouth, damaging her jaw grievously.

As the news broke out, people came forward to protest against animal killing seeking punishment for the wrongdoers. People also came up with posters and sketches to mourn the death of the innocent animal. Have a look:
