The condition of the United Kingdom’s (U.K.) Prime Minister (PM) has gone worse. PM Boris Johnson who tested positive for the coronavirus last month was under self-isolation. The British PM was managing work from home as he was supposed to be quarantined for 14 days.
An official statement by Downing Street says that PM’s condition has worsened. “Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been moved to intensive care in hospital. His coronavirus symptoms “worsened“, said the statement. The PM was admitted to hospital in London with “persistent symptoms” on Sunday evening.
As per the report from BBC Johnson was given oxygen late on Monday afternoon, before being taken to intensive care. He is under the care of doctors at St Thomas’ Hospital, in London. Queen Elizabeth II is keeping a constant watch of PM’s health.
The PM was tested positive soon after Prince Charles came positive. US President Donald Trump said Americans “are all praying for his recovery”. Johnson was taken to hospital for routine tests. His symptoms included a high temperature and a cough. His condition is now reported as normal.
