UP Woman Files Divorce Against Husband Because ‘He Doesn’t Fight With Her’

In one bizarre incident, a woman in Uttar Pradesh approached the court to file a divorce petition against his husband arguing that he was too kind to her and loved her so much.

After being married for 18 months, she approached the Sharia court and explained that she was fed up with the relationship and wanted a divorce because would never fight or argue with her.

The wife alleged that at times he even cooked and helped her with household chores, adding that they hardly have any disagreements between them.

Ok, I’m laughing hard while writing this. Means, what should men do? If we don’t love our woman that obviously is a problem. And even if we do, that too is a problem?

“Whenever I make a mistake, he always forgives me for that. I wanted to argue with him,” she was quoted saying.

The plea by the woman was, however, dismissed by the court on the grounds of impractical reason to seek a divorce. She then approached the local panchayat, which too couldn’t come to a conclusion regarding the matter.

The court and panchayat recommended them to solve the matter themselves. The man, in an explanation, said that all he wanted was his wife to be happy.

A similar incident was reported last year in UAE. Back then, a woman wanted to part ways with her husband because she felt “choked” by his “extreme love and affection” in the UAE.

The woman has approached the Shariah court in Fujairah for a divorce from the man and she had said, “He never yelled at me or turned me down.”
