The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) introduced the latest AI/ML chatbot called ‘Aadhaar Mitra’ for public convenience, on Friday.

What is UIDAI Chatbot ‘Aadhaar Mitra’?

Aadhaar Mitra is an UIDAI-launched new chatbot which will give automatic and rapid responses to users regarding Aadhaar and its related services. Users can use this service on UIDAI’s official website and its resident portal. On the website, users will see a blue chat option with an anchor text ‘Ask Aadhaar’.

How Will The Aadhaar Mitra Chatbot Help The Users?

“Aadhaar Chatbot is well trained on all Aadhaar-related topics, features and services. Residents can simply type the query in the chatbot and get the desired answers immediately”, UIDAI.

This chatbot supports both the languages Hindi and English for the user’s convenience and it also features educational videos which can help users regarding any query.

“The new chatbot includes improved functionality such as the ability to track the progress of Aadhaar PVC cards and verify Aadhaar enrolment/update status. Residents can use the bot to register their complaints and follow up on them.”

“The organisation is facilitating ease of living and is further committed to strengthening its Grievance Redressal Mechanism. UIDAI is gradually rolling out advanced and futuristic Open-Source CRM solutions. The new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution has been designed with advanced features to enhance UIDAI service delivery to residents”, asserted the Ministry of Electronics & IT.

“The new CRM solution may handle several channels, including phone calls, email, chatbot, web portal, social media, letters, and walk-ins, so that complaints can be filed, followed up on, and efficiently resolved. With the help of this unified, resident-centred strategy, UIDAI can handle roughly 92% of CRM complaints within a week”, mentioned Hindustan Times
