Three Major Features Introduced for WhatsApp Business

1. WhatsApp Flows

WhatsApp Flows is an advanced version of business chats within the app. These features will allow businesses to gather a variety of responses from the users instead of just yes or no. This makes business chats faster and more responsive. For instance, if a business offers booking services on WhatsApp, then customers will be able to choose their seating order, meal choices, and more without having to leave the chat. “With Flows, businesses will be able to provide rich menus and customizable forms that support different needs,” mentioned WhatsApp.

2. More Payment Options

This will be the most convenient feature that businesses will love to have on WhatsApp. With this update, customers can make product or service purchases within the chat via multiple payment options like UPI or Cards. Customers can add the items they like to the shopping cart and pay for them.

3. Meta Verified or Verification Badges

For customer convenience, for trusting a business on WhatsApp, the platform is bringing a Meta Verified feature. Once a business gets verified by the platform, it will receive a badge of authenticity. This will prove the legitimacy of a business for the customers.

“This feature will also include premium options, including the ability to create a custom WhatsApp page that is easily discoverable through web searches and multi-device support for multiple employees to manage customer interactions,” mentioned Indiantoday.

“WhatsApp notes that it will initially start testing Meta Verified for WhatsApp with small businesses using the WhatsApp Business app, with the intention of later extending this feature to businesses on the WhatsApp Business Platform.”
