Images from WhatsApp beta v2.23.17.16 expose Meta’s voice call adjustments, as shared by WABetaInfo. Notably, a new button on the navigation bar allows adding people during calls without disruption, in contrast to the stable version requiring a call pause. This streamlined feature ensures conversations remain uninterrupted, showcasing WhatsApp’s evolving user experience.

Constant Evolution of WhatsApp Voice Calls

Meta has been progressively introducing innovative voice call features to enhance the WhatsApp experience, as evidenced by its series of recent beta rollouts. In a noteworthy development, the July release of beta version 2.23.15.14 for Android heralded a significant change: the ability to initiate both voice and video calls, accommodating up to 15 participants concurrently. Notably, this update retains the existing group size limit of 32 members while ingeniously discarding the previous restriction that mandated initiating calls with only seven participants, thereby obviating the subsequent addition of more participants.
