Upcoming WhatsApp Update
Meta owned WhatsApp never stops planning, planning to make its instant messaging platform more secure and engaging. Now once again the Instant messenger is getting excited to show its new feature to users. With a future update, the WhatsApp beta version of Android will get a new emoji reaction feature for messages. But currently only being tested for both android and ios platforms.

News is confirmed by the exclusive WhatsApp tracking portal called WaBetaInfo. On this site, you can find real-time updates and news about Meta Owned Platform WhatsApp.
On their portal, WaBetaInfo stated today,
“When we have announced that WhatsApp was working on the ability to react to messages, we explained that it is possible to choose between 6 different emojis: Like Love, Laugh, Surprised, Sad, and Thanks. Some people wanted more emojis to use as reactions, and WhatsApp is finally working on a new version that offers more reactions for a future update of the app!”
After getting the new update WhatsApp users can react to someone’s message by tapping on the plus button. Tap will open a few types of emojis denoting love, like, laugh, surprised, sad and thanks. Users can choose one to show them how they are reacting to their message.

Not Officially Announced
The progress tracking platform clarified further and said that there is no evidence or an official statement yet. Nobody knows what types of emojis we will get to choose. There are two possible scenarios: either it will bring out the update with the five emoji reactions as discussed above or it will let us choose any emoji we want.
Portal said, “We will keep you up to date. This new version of message reactions is under development and will be added in a future update of the app. Unfortunately, a release date is unknown at the moment, so be sure to frequently visit this website to discover when it is available!”
