iPhone maker Apple has a history with releasing two to three iPhones in a year under a specific series. However, seems like that trend is all set to change in 2020.
As per the information by Apple analyst Ming Chi-Kuo, the tech giant may launch as many as five models of iPhones in 2020.
Kuo further, detailing about Apple’s iPhones launch lineup for the year 2020, said that the company might launch an updated version of iPhone SE in the first half of 2020. For the unknown, several reports add that SE 2 will share similarities with iPhone 8.
Kuo further suggests that besides SE 2 9 (name not confirmed), Apple will also launch four iPhone 12 models in 2020. These will include a 5.4 inch OLED display iPhone with a dual-camera setup while there will be 2 variants for the 6.1-inch iPhone. One of them will sport a dual-camera setup and other will sport a triple camera setup.
Besides these, Kuo also tips about Apple’s biggest iPhone which may come with a 6.5-inch display and three rear cameras.
Besides this information, for the unknown, the analyst has also hinted about support for 5G technology in all the iPhones coming in 2020.
Nevertheless, all these are just leaks and we will have to wait for the official announcement by Apple itself. However, keeping the past in mind – multiple models for iPhone X series and iPhone 11 series – five new iPhone in 2020 shouldn’t amaze you.
