Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic ‘fake messages’ are making their way through ‘WhatsApp’ and social media. From wrong information about PM Cares fund to drinking warm water as a cure, there is everything fake. However, only a few of us bother to check the authenticity of the message.

Bursting these myths is the ‘Press Information Bureau’s’ (PIB) fact check initiative. PIB has been running the fact check initiative to bursts the myth from quite sometimes. And during the times of Pandemic when fake news is spreading thick and fast they more than just active.

Here are some common fake viral messages that are nothing but utter bullshit:
