In a bizarre incident, a donkey in Pakistan has been arrested along with eight other suspects over gambling charges. The incident hails from the Rahim Yar Khan city in the Punjab province of Pakistan.
As per the reports, the accused were to take part in a donkey race and were to gamble on what donkey would win the race. The police, however, foiled their plans and arrested them and also seized Rs 1,20,000 cash from them.
More than that, they also arrested a donkey for being a part of the racket. So by this logic, if horse racing becomes illegal someday, will all the horses that had participated in the races all this time will be arrested?
The Station House Officer (SHO) said that the donkey was arrested as it was named in the First Information Report (FIR) along with the eight other suspects, according to Samaa TV.
A Pakistani journalist had also shared a video of the donkey that has been arrested.
