So Now Facebook Has Released A Private App Only For Couples, Hum Singles Kaha Jaye?

Amidst lockdown, love and romance have taken a beating and just like that, every relationship has turned into a long-distance relationship – until you don’t live together. So to ensure couples don’t feel apart, Facebook has a brand new application made just for them.

Sorry singles, you can leave for the day. Or wait, you can read on further for you might find someone during the lockdown that you can recommend the app too.

The app has been named Tuned. And has been described as a “private space for couples” on the Apple Store. The app is only for interaction between a couple and no one other than them would be able to see what a couple share there.

The app allows a couple to connect their Spotify accounts, set moods, send photos and postcards and voice memos to each other and play around with stickers and reactions.

Tuned has been developed by Facebook’s New Product Experminataion Team, which has been set up by Google to make such new apps. The NPE team has earlier released an app called Hobbi that focuses on the hobbies of a person and content around it.

A Facebook spokesperson told The Information that the app was released under NPE “to help set the appropriate expectations with users that NPE Team apps will change very rapidly and may be shut down if we learn that they’re not useful to people.”

Tuned, however, is only available on the Apple Store as of now.
