In a coronavirus affected world, our travelling plans have taken a big toll with only a few places deemed safe for travelling. However, reaching these destinations could be a woe as you will have to travel and there is always a chance to catch the virus if taking a long journey.
However, that problem of yours might just have found a solution. According to Millennium Post, the Himachal Pradesh government has hinted to make Himachal Pradesh the “Quarantine destination” of India. This is being down to allow people to quarantine in peace and revive tourism in the state.
In a television interview, the CM says that the government is mulling appealing concept. In adds that “in the future, when the impact of COVID-19 reduces and people from other states are advised to go into quarantine for 14 days, they can choose to come to Himachal to spend their quarantine period. We’re thinking along these lines.”
If that happens, surely I would be the first one to travel to Himachal Pradesh for the calm it has to offer. Also, with summer ravaging the north with heatwaves, Himachal is not a bad idea to quarantine.
