As of now, 46 forest fires have been reported in the state, which have gutted over 51.43 hectares of forest land so far. When the issue didn’t get the coverage it deserves, netizens began sharing pictures of the same on the web.

People online are outraged with how the Australian bushfires were given full coverage but the ones in Uttarakhand right now are being ignored for some bizarre reason. For the unknown, the state has been burning for the last 4 days.

Some reports claim that it is getting harder to control the fires due to the wind in the region. However, efforts are being made. Also, it’s important that people, especially the media speak on the issue as it is Uttarakhand’s rich biodiversity on the risk.

And 2020? Well, you suck!!!
