WhatsApp’s New Tool Let’s You Better Manage Storage On Your Phone

WhatsApp, thankfully, has introduced a better way for us to manage all those audio, gifs and pictures that unnecessarily fill up our phone space.

The tool allows a user to group together large files and media that have been forwarded multiple times and also sort them by size besides providing a way to preview them before deleting.

The feature, as of now, is mostly available for beta users of the app and is being rolled out for non-beta app users too in phases.

Besides this new feature, WhatsApp will soon launch the Disappearing Messages feature on the app. The feature, as the name suggests, would allow anyone to set a time limit to a chat after which the message exchanged in that particular chat would disappear.

WhatsApp, explaining about its Disappearing Messages feature, has said that one can find the feature by simply clicking on a chat and then just tap On/Off.
