Prime Minister Of India, Narendra Modi, on Friday after an all-party meeting with Chiefs of political parties claimed that China has not entered the Indian territory in Eastern Ladakh. Prime Minsiter Modi, after the meeting in a video message, shared the news with India.
“Neither is anyone inside our territory nor is any of our post captured,” PM Modi said, adding that India’s sentiments are running high at the moment and people are hurt and angry at the steps taken by China at the Line of Actual Control or LAC.
In the meeting, he also remembered the 20 brave Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives to safeguard the sovereignty of India. “Twenty of our bravehearts were martyred in Ladakh but not before they taught a lesson to those who raised an eye at Bharat Mata,” he said.
Most of the parties present in the meeting expressed solidarity with the same as PM goes on to add that, “I want to assure you that our forces will spare no effort to protect our nation. Today, we have the capability that no one can look at even an inch of our territory”.
The all-party meeting comes days after China ignited aggression in India’s side of Actual Line Of Control (LAC). In a six-hour-long fight, both Indian and Chinese soldiers indulged in a non-gun fight killing 100s of soldiers on either side.
